Data should build relationships, not replace them.
We built Corvus to bring the financial rigor of a scaling startup to the personal warmth of the private club world.
The Intersection of Service and Spreadsheets
I grew up on the tennis courts of clubs—first as a "junior" member, then as a teaching pro. I learned early on that a club isn't defined by its facilities, but by how its members feel when they walk through the door (though the facilities do help...)
But I also have a confession: I am a massive data nerd.
Before founding Corvus, I was the sole Financial Analyst for Astranis' $200M Series D fundraise. I owned the forecast for the 400+ person company, automating CEO-level reporting on cash runway, revenue, and headcount. I learned that when you automate the "boring" numbers, you free up leadership to focus on the big picture.
The Decision
Then, life threw me a curveball. I was accepted into Y Combinator at the exact same time my youngest brother fell ill while recovering from a heart transplant.
It wasn't a hard choice to make. I passed on YC to go be with my family. Stepping out of the Silicon Valley bubble gave me some much-needed perspective. I realized I didn't care about building the next 'unicorn'—I wanted to build tools for the kind of communities I grew up in.
Why Corvus Exists
I realized that Membership Directors are trying to do the impossible: maintain personal relationships with hundreds of families simultaneously. You can't be everywhere at once.
I built Corvus to bridge that gap. We use the same level of automation I built for high-growth tech companies to give Club Directors a "sixth sense" about their members.
If we can tell you exactly who used the club last week—and more importantly, who didn't—we can give you the context you need to make that personal phone call. We handle the data so you can handle the handshake.
